Marching Through the Madness: When Will America Be Free?

By: Nairobi

We are still marching through the madness.

A madness that never ended—it just evolved.

This land was stolen.

From the massacre of Indigenous nations to the brutality of slavery, America was built on blood. And in 2025, that blood is still being shed—on sidewalks, in cell blocks, at borders, and across seas.

Right now, ICE is tearing families apart with midnight raids and quiet deportations.

Black and brown immigrants—many of whom sought safety from war, poverty, and oppression—are being rounded up, detained, and shipped off like cattle.

Some are deported to countries they’ve never known and with no hopes of return while others are sent to places where death is certain.

Let’s name the truth:

There is a long, ugly legacy of anti-Blackness in U.S. immigration policy.

Black immigrants are disproportionately criminalized, detained longer, denied asylum more often, and deported faster than others.

We are not just facing a broken system—we are up against a system that was never built to protect us. It was built to control, to punish, and to continue enslaving us.

That’s why we have more prisons than schools. That’s why minority and poverty-stricken communities are targeted. Black and Brown babies are being preyed on before they even learn to dream.

Before they can imagine a future, their destiny has already been written—by a system designed to fast forward them straight into a detention center or jail cell. So when they end up in the penitentiary, it’s not by coincidence. It’s by design.

Meanwhile, police continue to murder Black bodies with impunity.

Say their names? The list is too long for this blog!

They pile up like hashtags in a nation that grows numb to our suffering.

We march. We peacefully protest We mourn. We demand.

Yet this madness holds no END.

I’m sick of being told to tread lightly.

To be quiet.

To stay in my lane.

On this day I refuse to.

You know why? Because

Too many Black babies are going missing—damn near every day. And yet, no one has anything to say.

The world keeps moving like nothing’s happening. No Amber Alerts. No news coverage. Just silence.

Missing children. Missing voices. Missing urgency.

And nobody’s seems to care.

I’m supposed to be protected by the First Amendment—freedom of speech—so let me use it, especially since we are on the verge of losing it.

Because silence is betrayal.

And I will not betray my people, my truth, or my spirit.

We must talk about what’s happening.

Because pretending it isn’t real won’t save us.

We are watching a country unravel while claiming to be the “land of the free.”

But freedom is not freedom when it is selective.

Freedom is not real if it only applies to some and not all!

I believe unity is still possible.

But we cannot get there without truth.

And the truth is: complexion still defines how justice is applied in this country.

And until we dismantle white supremacy at its roots—from the prison system to ICE detention centers—America will never be free.

We must return to what matters.

Not politics. Not party lines. Not power plays.

Morals. Principles. Spiritual truth.

Let the Creator back in—however you name Him:

God, Allah, Elohim, Jehovah, El Shaddai.

Let divine wisdom guide us again.

Let love lead us out of this MADNESS.

We need a resurrection—not just of systems, but of souls.

Of COMPASSION . Of COURAGE. Of COMMUNITY.

We need to remember who we are—and who we were meant to be.

This isn’t just about ICE. Or police. Or politics.

It’s about a deeper sickness. One rooted in the denial of humanity—especially Black humanity.

If you’re reading this, know this: your voice matters.

So speak. March. Build. Protect. Pray.

Do whatever you can to push this country closer to justice.

We can’t afford to wait. And trust me, no one is coming to save us so we must save ourselves!

Peace, love and prosperity.

FREE THE LAND AND POWER TO THE PEOPLE!✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
