Autism

A child is born into this world, while many are still searching for a cure. He or she is labeled “autistic,” yet society often acknowledges the difference without truly embracing it.

They are quick to point out what should be insignificant. History celebrates the geniuses of the world, yet today we’re told to overlook that many of them showed autistic traits—traits that helped shape some of the greatest creators we know.

We live in a society that too often treats autism like a punishment for parents. But in life, patience and understanding are the true definitions of love. God gave this world love in the form of a child—one you may say doesn’t fit the norm—but every baby is born perfect.

The world is programmed by labels, leaving us asking “maybe…”
Maybe I should have done this or that…
When in reality, you gave birth to a future success.

No child wants to be told they are different. Those who enter their space should recognize it as a privilege and respond with grace. That autistic child may be your president one day.

This is Autism Month. The spotlight is shining. It doesn’t matter if you’re Black, White, or Hispanic—you are a reminder that a world once filled with denial is finally awakening to your greatness.

I salute you. I love you. Let’s show the world that you are its greatest gift.
Stand up and be proud. Shout your name loud. Be heard—so the world can see a heart filled with courage.
